We at Fyde (Fyde, Inc. and our affiliates) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies both to our Website (www.fyde.com) and to our associated mobile applications (Mobile Apps), owned and controlled by Fyde (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy governs our data collection, processing and usage practices. It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information. This Privacy Policy also applies to the information we collect when you otherwise interact with us (for example, via email or customer support requests). If you do not agree with the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use our Services.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification to our app if you have it installed). If you create a support account, we will also collect and retain login information connected to that account.

When you use the Website:

Log Information: We log information about your visit to our website, including access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our website.

We use the information we collect only in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Customers who subscribe to our Subscription Services are obligated through our agreements with them to comply with this Privacy Policy.

  • We share information with our support service provider, Freshworks, which is based in the USA, when you lodge a request for support, for the purposes of providing our support services;
  • We share information with our error tracking provider, Sentry, which is based in the USA, for the purposes of improving our service quality;
  • We share information with our cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Services, to store your information;
  • We also share your information with our advertising and social media partners (including Facebook, Instagram and Google), where they require the data to select and serve relevant advertisements about our Services to you and others. In the case of the Mobile Applications, this data is limited to geographic app installs and de-identified information that the mobile device operating system provides directly (such as gender and age group).   • We also share your information with our Portuguese affiliate, Fyde Portugal – Unipessoal, Lda., for the purposes of providing you with the Services.

While we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it: for example, all connections between our app and our servers are protected using TLS; all our backups are encrypted at Rest and while In-Transit; we regularly audit accesses to our infrastructure; and we make sure that only authorized team members are allowed access to sensitive data flows.

You should be aware that submission of information over the internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via the app or the website while it is in transit over the internet and any such submission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we use strict security policy and procedures to prevent unauthorized access. All Information is protected using appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures.

8. Your Rights: How to Access and Control Your Personal Data

If you wish to delete or deactivate your use of our Services, you can delete our apps from your mobile device.

We process personal data (for example, email, first name, last name) only for so long as it is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, after which it will be deleted or archived except to the extent that it is necessary for us to continue to process it for the purpose of compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject or for another legitimate and lawful purpose.

10. Marketing and Promotional Communications

If you have elected to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the date you last expressed interest in our content, products, or services, such as when you last opened an email from us or ceased using your Fyde account. We retain information derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period of time from the date such information was created.

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Fyde by following the instructions in those emails or by emailing hello@fyde.com and requesting to be removed from our mailing list. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
